Categorize webbugs in findings panel.
In options we have Ads/Widgets/Privacy/Analytics etc., but in findings panel all is pushed into one list. So my suggestion is to keep categories in panel, however it will enlarge it... Or add category before/after every webbug name.

Hi xorandor,
Thanks for the suggestion! We are in the process of designing the next version of Ghostery's findings panel, and we'll take this idea into consideration. -

It would be a great idea if the panel could show me which kind of tracker has detected. So, it could sort the trackers in advertising, analytics, beacons, privacy and widgets ones, so that i could know which probably affect the right functioning of the website (because i block all the trackers and cookies by default) or just to be better informed about these trackers.
Thank you very much for reading my suggestion ^w^

Hi
I do not mind self-hosted trackers. Which is to say, trackers that track on a single page and do not aggregate it or ship the data off to some big corporation. For example the self-hosted solutions Piwik and Mint. Each website host their own instance of these softwares, and no data is shared with their manufactures.
Can these self-hosted trackers be separated out in their own category? So I an exclude them from my blocker list more easily.
The motivation for this granular control initiative is that I do not mind sharing data with the website I am visiting. But I do mind sharing it with a third-party that has nothing to do with my visit other than to spy on me and slow down my browsing.
