I have 2 ideas of better implementing some of the configuration functions. While Ghostery seems effective in blocking unwanted advertisement additions,
1. inverted selection should be an option i.e. block all except these checked box options.
2. (parts a and b) configuration should allow the selection of a simplified menu
part a) when simplified menu is selected, check boxes appear next to the listed advert. program/application to select which to allow or deny (again if configuration is inverted then allow check boxes appear) instead of the expanding menu
part b) using the simplified menu and when hovering over the object in question, pop-up a tool-tip box that easily says "View info about facebook social plugins" which could easily be on two lines for easier viewing the parent object however would appear as a hyperlink.
It wouldn't be hard to implement and would be much more powerful and easier to use.

Hi twasserleben,
Ghostery for Firefox will switch to Ghostery for Chrome's findings popup at some point in the future, replacing the expanding menu it uses now.
To see Ghostery for Chrome's findings popup, add Ghostery to your Google Chrome ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/de... ) and then click on Ghostery's toolbar button.
Safari and Opera versions of Ghostery already share Ghostery for Chrome's user interface. -

As for inverted selection: we will soon introduce an option to decide what to do with incoming bugs. This option will let you block all new bugs by default, if you pick that setting.
