On Fedora, turning on Cookie Protection causes Firefox to give an apparently endless loop of Unresponsive Script warnings whenever Clear Recent History -> Clear Now is invoked, warnings which identify Ghostery as the source of problem scripts. No amount of choosing either Stop or Continue seems to end the problem. Turning off Cookie Protection does fix the problem. The problem does not occur on a similarly configured Windows 7 computer. (Cookie Protection seems like it will be a good feature, and I'm looking forward to its seamless functionality. Thanks!)

Cookie Protection makes Clear Recent History hang with Unresponsive Script warning
-
Hi fedorafan, thanks for using Ghostery.
This is a known issue that I am looking into. Cookie Protection is colliding with Beef Taco: Ghostery will deny any cookies matched in the list, and Beef Taco attempts to re-create the cookies basically causing an infinite loop that results in Unresponsive Script. You may either disable Ghostery's Cookie Protection in Ghostery or disable Beef Taco to solve this issue. -
