CPU Usage mac

Edit Subject

Ghostery using 100% of one core on mac os 10.6.8 and firefox version 23.0. I have tried to disabling all other extensions and am 100% sure ghostery is the culprit. Also attempted to disable performance options on the ghostery options tab to no avail. Any suggestions?

Downgrading to 2.9.6 seems to be resolving the issue. It also seems like it may be related to Adblock, but that's here say.
