Crash Report: Conviva @ creativeLIVE

Result: Firefox crash, system lockup.
Symptom: CPU goes to 100%, RAM fills up, Firefox must be force quit.

System: Ubuntu 13.04 64bit, Macmini3,1
Application: Firefox 21.0
Plugins/Add-ons: Ghostery 2.9.5, Adblock Plus 2.2.4, BetterPrivacy 1.68, Shockwave Flash 11.2r202

Conditions: When navigating to http://www.creativelive.com/live1 with Ghostery enabled and choosing to block "Conviva" (Tracker - Advertising) causes the symptom listed above where Firefox crashes and the system is barely responsive until Firefox is quit. This website streams video hosted by UStream.

Remedy: Allowing Conviva or whitelisting creativelive resolves this conflict.

Note: Ghostery 2.9.5 is the first version I have used so no history available. Also, I see others reporting that video is blocked in the past, however video plays fine for my setup without engaging "Click-to-Play" even though I have "Replace certain blocked content with an option to allow it..." checked.
