Works just fine for me using FFX 27.0.1 and Ghostery 5.1.1.. what versions are you running? any other extensions active?

27.0.1 & 5.1.1 here also - but on Win764u

I normally use Cert Patrol 2.0.14 & British English Dictionary 1.19.1 - both of which are disabled currently. Only the enabling of ghostery breaks everything.

Had a though though - I am in the html5 beta - so may try opting out of that and testing...

(That video, btw, is not a reflection of my usual internet time - just the first example I came across when I wanted an example for this question!)
