crashes on ipad and gives un - releastic number of trackers

crashes on ipad when I touch the Ghostery icon to view ihe trackers. Crashes often when opening other functions. Ssometimes it lists an many as 100 plus trackers which seems un- releastic; but I certainly hope that many trackers are not following me on such sites as excite.com.
