Different Behaviour of White-Listing between Firefox and Chrome

NOAA Google Gadget does not work in Firefox 22 but works in Google Chrome 28. I've even White-Listed www.google.com - still no go. If I pause blocking in Firefox it works, but I thought that's what the White-List function was for. Any ideas?
