Is there any way to disable the extension on a whole website domain, not just a single page ( say, www.xyz.com/* )
Doesn't seem to be possible as it is.
Thanks

Hi Alastair Abela,
Yes, absolutely, just add www.xyz.com to Ghostery's site whitelist. The trailing wildcard is implied. -
-
Then how is this scenario explained?
If the extension is running on this one particular website in question, videos do not play, because the extension is detected and the website creators don't want us to use it I guess...
If I pause the extension from running and refresh - the video plays.
If I whitelist the specific page the video is on - the video plays.
If I whitelist the homepage of the site - the video does not play -
-
Could you provide the specific URLs (including what you whitelist when you say you whitelist the homepage)? I can't tell what happens otherwise.

The home page of the website:
http://roosterteeth.com/home.php
Tried copy-pasting that into the whitelist, as well as:
www.roosterteeth.com
The video on this page still does not load:
http://roosterteeth.com/archive/?sid=rvb
When I whitelist that specifically, however, it loads -

You should get rid of the www in your whitelisted URL. The actual site doesn't contain the www, so there is a mismatch.

Ok, removed it. The only link I have in my whitelist is the copy-pasted home page of the site:
http://roosterteeth.com/home.php
And the page with the video still detects the extension or something. -

I appreciate the help btw :) It's not really a problem if you can't find a solution. I'll just pause the extension on the not-too-often occasion that I want to watch videos on the site instead of YouTube...

Try whitelisting just the domain: roosterteeth.com
Since the video is hosted on a different page from the home page (not on home.php), whitelisting home.php does not apply to the video. -
