Does Ghostery block anything that EasyPrivacy doesn't?
If I already block third party cookies, and have adblock with Easylist and EasyPrivacy added, does Ghostery actually block anything more?

Hi Mike! Easylist, EasyPrivacy and Ghostery Detections are all different pattern matching lists maintained by different groups. There is certainly overlap, but I would not be able to tell you if they overlap completely without a close examination of the lists.
Generally speaking, its sufficient to have only one of blockers, however, when you double them up, they do work independently and if a tracker / ad sips through one, its generally caught by the other.Comment -

I'm in the process of analyzing this. When I get a Ghostery purple bubble, I am comparing the G elements to my Adblock (EL+EP) element list. I've just started doing this, but so far Ghostery has found a few more than EL+EP. (then, of course, I have the choice to make... should I add a custom filter to ADP???)
fwiw, I'm fairly conservative browser and tend to NOT go to a lot of busy sites with lots of likely tracker activity. But still it is amazing how much tracking is going on!-
Hi gardnegal, as I mentioned before, ABP EP is bound to overlap with Ghostery. That said, Ghostery mission is a bit different: Ghostery provides information for you to figure out what you want blocked or not.
