Hi westmeadow1,

The current version depends on the button to be present to fully function. The next version of Ghostery for Safari, coming in a month or so, will work either way.

Done in Ghostery for Safari version 1.1. Links to the Ghostery findings popup and Ghostery's options can be found in the right-click menu on pages in which Ghostery was allowed to run.

Download it from http://extensions.apple.com/ or http://www.ghostery.com/download.

You can also upgrade by going to Safari's Preferences, clicking on the Extensions tab, and unchecking and then checking again "Install Updates Automatically" under the Update category on the left.
