Does Ghostery protect me against fingerprinting?

Hello,

first thanks for this great add-on. But does it give all of our privacy back? Because of software like this tracking with cookies or supercookies gets more and more difficult but what about beeing fingerprinted?

I wanted to know if Ghostery prevents fingerprinting or if you know tools that do so?
