DoubleClick keeps getting through. I've tried to update the bug lists, but of course DoubleClick is already on there. Mitt Romney's Bain owns DoubleClick so I am especially sensitive to their tracking. One of the site where it has been encountered:

1At the risk of getting seriously off-topic: Bain Capital Ventures (which is not quite the same as Romney's Bain Capital) was an early investor in DoubleClick. DoubleClick had a successful IPO in 1998, and traded publicly on NASDAQ for several years. It was taken private in 2005. Google announced its intention to purchase DoubleClick in 2007, and completed the acquisition in 2008. So, no, Bain does not "own" DoubleClick, and hasn't for quite some time.
Getting back to Ghostery issues, besides what Pete mentioned, DoubleClick infrequently appears as Google Adsense, Google Affiliate Network, or Google Analytics. BTW, we reserve the term "getting through" for cases where something completely escapes Ghostery's notice; if you have unblocked 3pes in the Alert Bubble, that's [supposed to be] under your control.

Thanks for the clarification on the ownership of DC.
I was able to block it in the options (of course). I'm still new to Ghostery. I simply hadn't toggled all of the boxes and they showed dashes instead of check-marks (partial blocking i.e. 164 of 167 blocked). -
