download addon firefox connection failure (thailand 3bb ISP)

I'm in thailand (3bb ISP broadband 10 mbits sec OK) can download for chrome, but not firefox, - win8, 64bit, i7 result =
[? add to firefox= allow, download fast completes then message =)

Connection failure (someone else noted this mario?) I'm expert PC user, no other way to install manually, haven't had this trouble before...

    OK I fixed it, my stupidity will now be hung out to dry on the washing line for everyone to see!!. I forgot to temporarily turn off active protections in my ALWIL AVAST virus/web shield, it did not report to me that simple fact and when I removed its protection for 10 minutes it allowed the "install me ok" panel/dialog box to come up in firedfox,,, ooopsy daisy , time for nice cup of tea (something top be relished deep in the depths of a mosquito infested jungle in Thailand installing cell-phone towers)
