I need Ghostery and I like ghostery a lot! Use it everyday on my Mac and was very pleased to see this available for iOS. But... why another separated browser?!
I understand that Mobile Safari doesn't allow add-ons, but why not work together with Mozilla or Mercury to extend one of the other great browsers for iOS with this functionality?
I hope that a 'real' browser with adblocker and Ghostery will some day see the light for iOS...

Mozilla does not have a mobile browser available for iOS yet. Mercury is a paid app and we would like to keep Ghostery as a free product if possible. There are some other browsers in the market place that we have not ruled out yet in terms of extending. We will keep you posted if there is any news here.
As far as the current product there is a version 2.0 coming down the pipeline which will have several new features and enhancements to make it more 'real'. -
