Whether you block it there or not, the site is partly broken, just in a different way.

(Red for problems, violet for OK).

When you don't block it:

-- unnecessary spaces begin to appear before some words as you scroll the page down to them,


-- the "nearby words" section (deep down into the page) never fully makes it onto the screen.

When you do block it:

-- the preferences of the "IPA / Respelling" and "Syllable dots on / off" switches are suppressed and can't be changed,
-- the lexical words in the definitions lose their underlying hyperlinks,
-- the "Word of the Day" disappears,
-- the animation of the difficulty index never starts,
-- the "fold / unfold" and "move up / down" switches all over the page, with arrows & plus / minus signs, are dead.
