Facebook Scripts/Cookies on Chrome

Ghostery on Chrome - when blocking scripts does Ghostery prevent a set cookie from beaming back info? Specifically I have allowed Facebook.com cookie to be allowed for third party so I can comment on ESPN and one other site & allow FB social plugin and FB Connect allowed on those sites also . I have Facebook scripts blocked on all other sites. Feedback -Thanks

Hey There,

Thanks for reaching out to Ghostery!

Basically, if you allow the tracker it will do its thing, whether its drop a cookie, report home some info on you, or whatever else. If you block a tracker with Ghostery, then that tracker never has the chance to transmit anything back to the parent.

does that make sense?
