Facebook targeted ads despite Ghostery and Blur

I have Donottrackme (now Blur) and Ghostery installed and configured.
Yet, when I am on my Facebook page I see ads for item I have previously looked at on Amazon.co.uk.
Is there anything I can do to increase my privacy or are Ghostery and Blur failing?
