Hi there.
I am using Nightly Firefox for Linux (Arch Linux 32 bit fully updated). I also use Firetray add-on. Whenever I "close" Firefox it gets hidden in the tray. That would be the expected behavior. Unexpected however is the fact that when the Firefox hides it also "looses" Ghostery icon from the bar. You can get it back by reinstalling add-on OR restarting browser.
Could someone look into it?
Thanks.
Andrzej
Firefox Nightly + Firetray (Linux) = missing ghostery bar icon until browser restart or add-on reinstall.

Ok I have downgraded to the Firefox 27 and it does the same thing so its not just nightly...
I am disappointed with 10 days without any replies...

There are issues with the toolbar button "disappearing" on all platforms. It's entirely possible the current implementation will be scrapped and completely rewritten, and your problem might get fixed as a result.
Since Firetray only works with a limited set of configurations, you should tell us which window manager or desktop environment you're using. Understand that you're not asking for something simple or straightforward; it could take several hours to prepare a suitable virtual machine image for testing, and no one wants to bother unless it's absolutely necessary.

Yes I did. It does not brings the button back. Button is present only after fresh installation of Ghostery OR after Firefox restart (until I will close it to tray).
When I will restart the browser, open error console, close it to tray the error console displays:
Timestamp: 04/03/14 20:29:24
Error: expected type int, got (void 0)
Timestamp: 04/03/14 20:29:24
Error: JavaScript callback failed, and an error sentinel was not specified.
Not sure if its relevant but maybe it is...
Kind regards.

Hi gents. I believe this is an Australis specific issue that will be addressed in 5.2 release. In the meantime, please download 6.2 beta from the dev channel: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...

I do not see a 6.2 beta version. I can see 5.2 beta tho. Was this a typo?
Kind regards.
