Firefox Seemingly Won't Open Certain Links

Today I tried to open up an article that was sent to me - http://accelerate.presspublisher.us/i...
I could not open it with Firefox, as it would just churn and never open. Then I went to Internet Explorer and it opened right up. I reported the same experience that I had with getting PayPal to open up with Firefox only days ago. I don't want to use Explorer, believe me, but if I keep having these experience, I will be forced to I imagine. Hopefully you fine folks can affect a change.
