Firefox still freezes/crash on 5.0.1 update.
I'm still experiencing Firefox (23.0, Win 7) crashing upon startup even when I updated Ghostery to its latest release. But ver. 2.9.6 works perfectly fine. I don't know what's causing it though so I'm disabling Ghostery for the time being until someone find a solution concerning this encounter I experience.

Hi angelo, could you please try Ghostery on a fresh profile as explained here: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles and let us know the results? Also, please provide specs of the PC? Thanks!

Felix, your suggestion solved it! I created a new profile and installed Ghostery (its the only addon installed) and Firefox was back to normal. Now, I tried to run the default profile I usually use--it's also back to normal after re-configuring 5.0.1 because I had to re-enable it and it brought me to the setup settings again. But yes, everything is finally back on normal cruising. Thank you so much for the quick feedback Felix! Firefox is my best and primary web browser. Keep up the great effort guys! :D
update: nope, apparently, it still crashes--particularly whenever I go to Google and try to login. I'm going to work that new profile I just created and report back if anything.
update-2: Crashing also occurs on Pocket's (addon) website when logging out. Maybe authentication issues?? It doesn't crash upon Firefox's startup anymore but switched on webpage issue. Maybe there's another unknown addon that's causing Ghostery to be incompatible??-
Do you have ABP installed?

Yes, disabling ABP didn't fix it. I disabled another anti-tracker, PrivacyChoice TrackerBlock (2.2). I think that did it. So far, I am not experiencing any freezing/crashing on startup or web browsing.
