I’m confused

Getting an INVALID CERTIFICATE error when attempting to download Ghostery

I went to download Ghostery this evening and my Chrome web browser popped with an error message saying that the website I am attempting to access is INVALID. Has your website been hacked????

Hi Samuel,

Which website are getting the certificate error on? Is it ghostery.com? If it is still happening, could you take a screenshot?

Following download links on http://www.ghostery.com/ sends you to https://chrome.google.com/extensions/..., which is Ghostery's listing in the Google Chrome extensions gallery. The download there is hosted by Google.

  I tried again today and had no problem, so I guess it was a temporary glitch somewhere...although it did last for a couple of hours.... When I clicked on the Download button today, I was brought straight to the Google Chrome download page, just as you described.
