Getting back to original web page

After clicking on Ghostery and tracing some of the sites how do you get back to the original web page you were on??

  • Hi Kinsey, thanks for using Ghostery.

Could you please explain in detail what you click in Ghostery and where it takes you? Technically, all Ghostery versions should always open new windows for you and not reuse the same page as to not disrupt browsing. Please let me know, thanks!

  • I use Safari as my Browser. When I go to a web site Ghostery counts and lists the different entities that are monitoring me. I have the Ghostery icon on my menu bar in Safari. Clicking on the Ghostery icon does not open a new window. It becomes the "open" window. I can not get back to my original window as Ghostery is now the main window. Frustrating to say the least.

As stated in your reply, I see something is not working right with Ghostery.

My Safari version is 5.0.5 and am running OS 10.5.8.

Some way to solve this problem?

    Thanks.

Could you post a screenshot illustrating this? I'm not sure what you mean. Clicking the toolbar button should bring up a popup that looks something like this:
