Feedback: I just disabled Ghost Rank as it slows down the rendering of the page. I got too many messages "Waiting for extension Ghostery..."
I'm using Chromium on LinuxMint.
Ghost Rank causes slow rendering and "Waiting for Ghostery" messages.

Hi riemer.thalen,
Are you using Ghostery 3.0.0? Which version of Chromium do you have?
Are there pages where you can reproduce this consistently?
Does the issue still occur when Ghostery is the only active extension? -

Hi Alexei,
I wrote the answers next to your questions.
Are you using Ghostery 3.0.0? Yes
Which version of Chromium do you have? 18.0.1025.151 (Developer build 130497 Linux) Built on Ubuntu 11.04, running on LinuxMint 11
Are there pages where you can reproduce this consistently? Sorry, I cannot reproduce it on the sites I visit frequently. (Might have been a memory problem.)
Does the issue still occur when Ghostery is the only active extension? No idea. I didn't check. The bottom bar stated: Waiting for extension Ghostery. So I suppose Ghostery was the one Chromium was waiting for.
What surprised me was that Ghostery interrupted the rendering. I expected it to check the unknown cookies _after_ they were loaded. (For the cookies Ghostery should block, the data are on my PC, I guess. No server access required.)

Would it be possible to take a screenshot of this issue next time it happens?
I'm not familiar with this message, and I'm not sure how GhostRank would be responsible for holding up the page (since GhostRank takes place outside, in Ghostery's background process). -

I'll try. Don't know if I can when the browser is irresponsive. I will come back to you as soon as I see the problem reproduced.

Thanks!
