What operating system are you using?
Is ‘Enhanced Protected Mode’ on, and if he has ‘Enable 64-bit processes for Enhanced Protected Mode’ on (Internet Options->Advanced->Security). 64-bit IE may still use 32-bit processes for its tabs, depending on the options.Comment -

Today I tried again to install Ghostery and managed successfully. Probably the problem was caused by the fact that after uninstalling addition "adblock plus" not rebooted the computer and hence this problem ...
Also, everything works ...

Ghostery will not work at all on IE 11 64. It shows it installed as an addon but nothing is appearing in the toolbars. Where is it.

Which OS are you using? Are you logged in as administrator? Can you verify any of the settings from the top comment?

Windows 7 H.P. 11.0.9600.17501. Yes tested it out on Admin first. That looks like a crash report. IE isn't crashing. This is my first time trying it out on IE since I have not had to use IE until recently.
