Hello,
I have been a loyal Ghostery user for a couple years now and I love it. It blocks everything I need it to, without completely breaking websites. I have had no problems out of it until the last few weeks.
The Ghostery icon in my navigation bar keeps disappearing. I am using the latest stable release of both Firefox (33.1.1) and Ghostery (5.4.1) on Windows 8.1. The icon goes away whenever I restart Firefox and won't come back unless I disable Ghostery and then re-enable it. It does this even on a fresh install of Firefox with no other extensions. The options page also pulls a disappearing act until I do the disable/re-enable trick.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
The icon issue will most likely be resolved if you create a new firefox profile, but it does require you to start from scratch. -
