Ghostery will NOT pause blocking. I can click pause but it will not reload and then pause does not work - help

Never had this problem before. It just does not pause blocking - how do I fix

Additional problem, when I click the icon and then the gear, I can see options but when you click on it nothing happens - everything is dead in the water. Lets get some answers on this pls - I am on Firefox beta 38.0

What's the status of this problem?

Same for me:
Pause Blocking, and all other buttons, are non-operational. e.g. I click "Pause Blocking", the "reload page" button comes up, but just disappears when I click it and nothing happens. Same if I click on Options, nothing happens. Etc. Tried reloading Ghostery, no difference.

The rest of Ghostery continues to work and block stuff as usual - but it won't listen to me!
Firefox Beta latest update

Pete - just seen your earlier post (doh!). Yes, 5.4.4-beta1 seems to solve it.
