Ghostery 5.1.2 heavy cpu/ram usage with Firefox 27.0.1

Just tried your addon for firefox and I noticed after a short time that my browser started to lag a lot, and when i checked the windows task manager performance tab i was using little over 5gigs of ram of the 6gigs i have installed and with it disabled it's 3.25gig. I think there is a serious leak in this addon that it's consuming over 2gigs of memory to run. I really want to use this because it's great and simple to understand and use, but this heavy memory usage just makes browsing sluggish.

    I don't open a lot of tabs, I use 1 to 4 tabs on average. I had finished with the other tabs and was working with just 1 tab when it really got choppy, performance wise, and that's when I disabled it. I then closed my browser and restarted it and my memory usage went to normal 3.25Gig of my 6Gigs installed memory. The 3.25Gig memory usage represents my entire system memory usage. Not Firefox's.
