Ghostery 5.xx doesn't work at all in Cyberfox 28 x64 (Ghostery 2.9.5 and any other addons work flawlessly)

Good Evening,

In Cyberfox 28 (x64), Ghostery 5.xx (even 5.2.0 beta) doesn't work at all whereas 2.9.5 and every other plugin works flawlessly (including Disconnect).

I can download and install it successfully. But neither the wizard, the bubble or the icon appear. I can manually add the icon in the toolbar but nothing work (pages not analyzed, nothing happens when clicking on "Options",...).

Is there something to do to make it work ? (Using Firefox instead of Cyberfox is not a solution for me)

I found the origin of the issue.

It's a conflict with the LastPass addon.
Without LastPass, it works (with 5.2.0b1). I can use LastPass as a standalone but it's not practical.

Sylvain, there is no known conflicts between LastPass and Ghostery. Is there anything ghostery related in the error console? Have you tried staring cyberfox with -console command line and see if ghostery outputs any errors there? Thanks.

  Frankly I don't understand. Since yesterday late evening, I managed to make the two work together.
  
  Before, I used Disconnect. I put Disconnect, Adblock Plus and LastPass at the bottom left hand corner.
  
  When I tried to add Ghostery 5.1.2 (after Disconnect uninstall and restart), nothing displayed. I tried then to add manually the icon. By clicking on it, I saw that Ghostery was blocked on "blank" and didn't analyze my pages.
  
  I tried then every 5.xx and it did the same, until 2.9.5 (with a save problem of my settings).
  
  I tried then 5.2.0b1 and the problem still occured.
  
  Then, I tried again Disconnect instead of Ghostery and the same occured (no icon).
  
  I disabled then every plugin and loaded them one by one (and tested then by enabling Ghostery 5.2.0b1). When there was only LastPass and Ghostery, I tried without LastPass. It worked. With it, I didn't work. And not only one time !
  
  I cleared the cache of my browser, changing orders of addon's activations,...
  It finally worked but I didn't understand what happened.
  
  I saw that LastPass created a toolbar (LastPass Toolbar). Maybe it conflicted with my Layout ?
  
  If I did know the -console command It would have helped me a lot.

  It happens. Were still trying to determine whats causing this (you are not the only person reporting similar symptoms), but if its working for you, then everythings good. Let us know if it starts again and then we'll try the triage steps.

  Thank you. I use Windows 7 x64 (and Windows 8.1 x64 on another computer). Maybe It's a common point with other people with this issue.
  
  If the problem occurs again, I'll immediately start the console to try to diagnose it and report. But I think I'll have to wait next update of Ghostery to see it again.
