Ghostery blocked-removed-freezing after Firefox 23 upgrade

Since the FireFox 23 upgrade a few days ago I've had to reinstall/over install Ghostery several times. Initially after the upgrade FF removed Ghostery from bars and disabled it. However it was still listed on extensions list as active. To fix I had to reinstall Ghostery as new, however it's blocking ability is limited, I have a minimum of 29-30 cookies installing per session now where I had 0 before. Adding to issue is fact FF23 is freezing randomly forcing you to go to Task Mgr/end process to unfreeze, ending session. This also sometimes removes Ghostery from status bar and must be reinstalled to regain function. A conflict with Click&Clean seems to be causing the random freezing and C&C's functions are also blocked and not working but it has remained on status bar. Obviously there are issues with FF23 upgrade...or attempt to limit blocking apps??? Any help appreciated, sweeping for cookies every hour or so is getting tiresome and concerned if anything else might be slipping through. Thanks, Wifi
