Ghostery breaks GMX.de

Edit Subject

The now version of ghostery seems to break the well-known German e-mail provider GMX. When Ghostery is active, some vital links of the GMX UI disappear after half a second. When deactivated, the site functions properly. Thanks for fixing.

  Hi Pete, thanks for your reply. I am using Firefox 15.0 on Ubuntu 11.10. See below the add-ons I am using. Disabling Adblock Plus did not change the behaviour BTW.

Could you please turn off "Click-to-play" options under Ghostery Advanced Options and tell us if this helps you?

Nope, deactivating both Click-to-Play options doesn't change anything.

In my mail-provider-surface, icons and texts are not displayed while ghostery is enabled.While I'm still satisfied with the blocking of ads etc., it is really annoying having to disable/enable blocking all the time. Is there an easy way to solve this?

I updated Ghostery today and now all the little open and closed letter symbols disapaered in my GMX email account. What happend?

  Still doesn't work.
  
  But diasbling INFOnline and Omniture helps. :-)
  (Edit Blocking Options-->disable INFOnline, disable Omniture-->symbols and Icons are back)
  :-))
  
  I think this helps until I am able to download the new version.

Hello. I just installed Ghostery yesterday.
My email account (gmx) does not show the "bin" and "spam" icons anymore which I always found practical. When I block all 3pes (Advertising, analytics, privacy, trackers, widgets) the icons reappear. However, if only one of the five boxes is ticked, the icons disappear again. Do I have to whitelist the website or is there a better solution?

Hello Ghostery-Team,

When Ghostery is activated some symbols (e.g. Recycle bin) are gone at my gmx account. If Ghostery is deactivated and the page gets reloaded the symbols appear.
In my settings I choose to block all 1106 trackers.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the support.
