Ghostery interferes with Firefox Social API

Firefox 17+ comes with Social API to make Firefox more social and it works great with Facebook Messenger for Firefox. I find Social API a very handy feature in Firefox but Ghostery seems to interfere with this feature. If i block Facebook Social Graph with Ghostery then Messenger for Firefox is not able to login and if i unblock this widget it works as expected.
