Ghostery blocks the main page at http://nhl.com . Some elements do initially appear but then the page goes blank. Turning blocking off in Ghostery makes it work again.
I have all bugs set to be blocked and I have experienced this with both 2.0.3 and 2.1.1 (after an upgrade, ie. not a clean install).

Hi rufus! Thanks for using Ghostery.
I'll look into this issue and let you know what could be done. -

Rufus, would please try with the upgrade? Here is the link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...
I'm not seeing anything wrong on my end, but I am running Ghostery 2.1.2 -

Hi,
I am still able to reproduce it with 2.1.2 under Firefox 3.6.3 on Win7 64b.
I tried disabling my add-ons and plug-ins one by one, and at one point nhl.com did work *for a moment*. Now with all add-ons and plug-ins disabled (except Ghostery), nhl.com is still broken as described above.
Checked options:
- Enable ghost count
- Enable blocking On
- Also delete Flash and Silverlight
- Also block images served off...
- Also block iframes served off... -
-
rufus, next step would be to provide a screen shot? Again, I'm not seeing any issues, but it might because I'm not looking at the right place. Thanks!

Uninstalling Ghostery, deleting its directory from firefox profile, and reinstalling (2.1.1) did help my cause. Maybe I should have tried it straight away :)
Thanks Felix.
Update: After enabling all my add-ons, the problem is back. I'll try enabling one at a time to see which one causes this... Stay tuned. -

From my point of view, this is definitely a Ghostery problem. I have just reproduced the following with version 2.1.2 on latest Firefox on Win7 64b *and* Ubuntu 10.04 64b, both with freshly created user accounts with no other add-ons installed:
1. See nhl.com working fine.
2. Install ghostery 2.1.2.
3. Restart Firefox.
4. Go to ghostery options, turn blocking on, select all bugs.
5. nhl.com still works.
6. Restart Firefox.
7. nhl.com no longer works (see screenshot)...

Odd. Looks like some kind of pre-loading advertising that I just done see on my end. I'll let you know when I find something.

rufus, have you tried whitelisting nhl.com? Once again, I just dont see the issue on my end (nhl.com fully loads for me with everything blocked in Ghostery). I'm fairly certain its a script they're using right upfront called foresee, but for me, its not preventing the loading of nhl.com...
