Ghostery is causing digg.com's "next" button not to work. When ever i click the next button on home page i receive below error. "We were unable to complete the request, please refresh the page and try again."
disabling ghostery addon in firefox makes the digg's next button work normally.
add on version 2.5.3

This one is particularly vexing, because it doesn't manifest regularly. In my tests, the error was reproducible no more than 25% of the time. With all bugs blocked, things mostly worked as expected. I don't know whether this is a "race condition," or inconsistent behavior across multiple servers hidden behind a load balancer.

» You could try unblocking Omniture and see if that makes any difference.
We'll need a couple of other people to look at this, to try to discern a pattern. It's entirely possible Digg is just having a bad day, and Ghostery might not be a factor at all.

Thanks for the prompt reply. In my case i am able to recreate the issue 100% of the time (over a period of 3 weeks). I have tired white-listing digg.com domain and also unblocking Omniture. And it did not make any difference.
only disabling the add on and restarting the browser makes the functionality work again -

1Hi kneekill, thanks for using Ghostery.
This might be related to cookie blocking functionality that Ghostery now has. Do you have Cookie Protection on? If so, try disabling it, or unchecking digg widgets cookie protection and see if the site works? -

hi Felix, you are right unchecking digg widgets cookie protection has resolved the issue. thanks a lot for the help
