Ghostery Control Panel requires 2 clicks to open in Firefox

There a weird bug with the control panel (Ghostery 2.8.4). In Firefox 18 I have added it to the add-on bar and the first time during a session it requires 2 clicks to open. Every subsequent attempt to open it requires a single click during that session, but as soon as I close the browser and reopen it, again the first attempt requires 2 clicks. Please fix this annoying bug!
