Add redirect link cleaning and browser fingerprinting protection to Ghostery

Check it yourself here (privacy tests):
http://fingerprint.pet-portal.eu/
https://panopticlick.eff.org/
http://ip-check.info/?lang=en

Protections against this should be added to ghostery, actually the only addon protecting against this is:
https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox...

Also this feature should be added to ghostery:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...

  • Hi graiden,

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Ghostery does indirectly protect against browser fingerprinting, in the case when one of the companies Ghostery tracks tries to apply fingerprinting using its third-party widgets. Since the widgets can be blocked by Ghostery, the fingerprinting will also be blocked.
