Thanks for the suggestions.
Ghostery does indirectly protect against browser fingerprinting, in the case when one of the companies Ghostery tracks tries to apply fingerprinting using its third-party widgets. Since the widgets can be blocked by Ghostery, the fingerprinting will also be blocked.-
