Ghostery for IE9 has stopped working. Behavior noticed after most recent Flash and Java update. Program shows in installed list. Program shows add-on enabled. Ghostery does not show in task manager. Purple bubble has disappeared. Tried uninstall\install, antivirus off. ChromeFrame on/off no help. Program was working before most recent Flash\Java update. Chrome plugin works fine.
Vista sp2..go figure.

Hi Chris,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
Are you able to access the options menu by entering: www.ghostery.com/addon/options
If so.. can you see what your display options are set as in the advanced tab? -

Pete,
No, I am not. Ghostery tries to connect- I can see the network activity- but the program no longer loads. I even tried running each of the executables from the file folder as that had worked previously, but nothing works this time. I have tried eliminating all other variables I can think of, short of UAC, with no success. Leave it to Microsoft to never really support IE in Vista. Other browsers seem to work just fine...

There is some strange issue with Vista that we haven't been able to pin down. I am forwarding this to our dev team to see if we can get some sort of resolution. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for looking into the issue as much as you did!
