My error console is spitting a lot of :
Error: ghostery is not defined
Source File: chrome://ghostery/content/ghostery-cookiemonster.js
Line: 23
I'm using ghostery on mozilla's aurora channel - running ghostery 2.5.3

Hi Ludovic, thanks for using Ghostery.
This is a harmless error at this point, tho I have resolved it for the next version of Ghostery. It occurs when multiple copies of the common file is executed, and it slipped through the cracks when I was testing the previous release. -

I have not been able to open my Groupon account, or even go to the page, in Firefox for many weeks. I get this error message:
Error: ghostery is not defined
Source File: chrome://ghostery/content/ghostery-cookiemonster.js
Line: 23
I use a Macbook Pro and this was the case with the last version of Firefox and now 5.01. It worked find for a long time, but then stopped. I can access it using Safari, but not Firefox and it is Firefox that has Ghostery. I prefer Firefox to Safari and I do not like bouncing between browsers because it is inefficient. I'm trying to avoid going back to using Safari regularly, but I will if I need to in order to have a browser from which all my accounts can be accessed.-
Hi bitterresignation, thanks for using Ghostery.
The error that you see in the console isn't critical for Ghostery operation, and would not prevent sites from loading. It is fixed in the next release: Ghostery 2.6. The release is available for testing, please email me if you want a copy, I could be reached on felix@evidon.com
Also, please clarify what you mean by inability to access Ghostery in Firefox. Is the icon gone? Do you get the purple box? -
