Ghostery making latest Firefox hang when blocking all cookies

When set to block all cookies, Ghostery 5.0.3 causes Firefox to hang upon loading a web page. After killing and restarting FF, Ghostery's settings are wiped (even though they were saved earlier by clicking the "Save" button on the options page) and the wizard opens in a new tab automatically.
Basically Firefox stop responding. It's possible that Ghostery is just doing a huge amount of processing that will eventually complete, but I didn't wait to find out.

Ghostery 5.0.3 on Firefox 23.0.1 on Windows 7. I should point out that I have NoScript installed and set to pretty draconian settings.
