Using Google Chrome 28.0.1500, Ghostery 4.1.2, Windows 8 (64bit), CCleaner 4.04.4197
Where are the files located that maintain the Ghostery settings?
The settings all of a sudden started to get erased when I upgraded to ccleaner ver 4.04.4197, from the version just prior to this

Greetings!
Thanks for using Ghostery!
There is an options file that is stored locally that should contain your settings.. but it won't stop what appears to be happening.. I'll update my CCleaner and see what I can come up with.
Thanks for the heads up! -

I have the same problem with Firefox. I must comment that Ghostery is a fantastic idea, and the way that it is implemented is shear genius. Thanks much for the thoughtful effort in perfecting this approach..
Hopefully, the aforementioned problem can be solved.
If it helps, un-checking all the boxes in the CCleaner IE section spares the Ghostery flagged trackers from being deleted. I tried trial and error on the default individual files and applications listed in the CCleaneer IE box, but it doesn't work unless all are un-checked. Weird. Good luck.-
This may be due to something happening with 5.4.1. If you Disable CCleaner, then "Skip Wizard" in Ghostery, restart browser then enable CCleaner.. That may do the trick.
