Ghostery update does not run when I restart.

I installed Ghostery IE into IE8. I know it is there b/c I see the names of trackers in the upper right of browser windows, and I get update prompts, but the icon does not appear in my command bar. I doublechecked that I was seeing all available icons. The last Ghostery update prompt came at a very inconvenient time so I cancelled it. I expected to get another prompt after I closed and restarted my PC and opened a browser window, but it didn't come. How do I access the available update?
