Ghostery will not download for Mac; only downloads for Safari on virtual machine running Windows.

I am running a MacBook Pro, on which I run Windows XP through Parallels Desktop. Even with Parallels shut down, when I try to download Ghostery, it appears with the Parallels icon indicating it is for the Windows partition, and if I open it, it causes Parallels and Windows to start. I am trying to download and use Ghostery on the Mac side of my computer. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Peter,

Try installing Ghostery for Safari from http://extensions.apple.com/ (under Security).
