Ghostery won't block Google Analytics in Chrome, according to Collusion
Ghostery 4.1.0 for Chrome don't block Google Analytics. I tried the add-on Collusion in both Firefox and Chrome but Google Analytics is only blocked in Firefox.

Hi Kristoffer,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
Can you send me a URL where you see it not blocked? -
-
Hi!
Ghostery shows it as blocked but in the Collusion add-on it isn't but in Firefox it shows as blocked in both add-ons.

"Chrome:
Collusion uses ‘beforeload’ DOM event listener to intercept requests, so Collusion still receives the request and reports it as a tracker, even if Ghostery blocks it. Elements enclosed within a red circle on the Collusion graph indicated are indicated as being trackers."

Seems like it's Chrome and Collusion that don't work well together. -

Hi Kristoffer,
Could you please include a screenshot that suggests Google Analytics is unblocked, just so we are all on the same page? -

You're welcome! Is it a bug or just two add-ons that don't work together?
-
-
Yes, to both. Collusion is unable to tell that the request was cancelled by another extension because Collusion uses a different, more limited way of intercepting requests (the "beforeload" listener in https://github.com/disconnectme/chrol...).
