1Do you have it, and is it enabled? When you install Ghostery, it only applies to the current user's active profile. Open the Troubleshooting Information page and see if Ghostery is listed under Extensions.
If so, open Ghostery's Options, and click the Advanced tab. Make sure Show Ghostery button in Navigation Bar is checked. If not, check it and click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
I advise upgrading to a supported version of Firefox ASAP. As of this writing, that's either 18.0 or 17.0.2esr.

Just installed FF 14.0.1 on my new MacBookPro (late 2012 15" Unibody, 2.7 i7,OS X 10.8) and the Ghostery button that used to reside in the upper right hand corner is gone!
I've disabled Ghostery and turned it back on, button gone.
I've uninstalled and re-installed it, button gone.
I found an earlier tech support query in the forum discussing this issue, but it was for the Opera browser, not firefox.
I love Ghostery, but need my button to access the switching and the 3pes descriptions.
As it stands now I get the floating bubble telling me I am being tracked, but no way to block things.
Any ideas and wisdom sharing most gratefully received.
Best, Nic Close

It was working great. Today I restarted Firefox and I noted that the icon from Add-on on top RH next to home button (see pic.) is missing. In setting the box for displaying the icon is checked. I reinstall Ghostery with out result. Do anybody have any input what it cause or there is some additional sting somewhere else? I have two computers and both has same browser. One is showing Ghostery icon on top and both showing also on bottom. I'm interested to resolve the top!
thanks

Running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
Firefox 19.0
Option for Ghostery on the Navigation Bar is turned on.
Ghostery appears to working correctly. It is just not displaying the add-on on the Navigation Bar.
This worked before the update of Ghostery to version 2.9.1 with the new panel.

Ghostery no longer appears on Firefox Navigation Bar.-
Hi Ken,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
I have noticed from a few users that Firefox 19 upgrade removed the check if some users had the add-on bar selected in view.. Please check to make sure you have View > toolbars > addon active. -
-
Thanks for the comment.
Yes, it does appear on the Add-on bar when displayed - which is OK as a work-around.
However, Ghostery includes an option so it is also available on the Navigatioin Bar, and it is this one that is not present.
With the option available on the Navigation Bar, I do not need to have the Add-on bar visible - less toolbars equates more content realestate. -

Where the heck is my Ghost in Firefox 19.0? I actually lost the Ghost a couple Firefox versions ago. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Ghostery several times. I see the list of trackers on a website, but I don't have any Ghost to stop them or any other options. Please help. Dave 3/2/2013

Vanishing Ghostery!.-
Hi Marz,
As you can see there are a few ways to get it back... easiest way is View > Toolbars > Customize... let me know if you need further assistance. -

Hi. Running Firefox 26.0 and the ghost icon has just disappeared. Eheu. But more to the point, View> Toolbars > Customize lets me add all sorts of jolly things like separators and zoom buttons but does not include add-ons/extensions such as ghostery......

I have reverted to the old ghostery because the new one, ever since it was downloaded, does not show any icons, or tracker list. Only the old one does this. My settings are correct.
