How do I completely clear Ghostery's settings in Firefox (v35.0.1), please?
This did *not* work:
In firefox, go to Add-ons Manager, Extensions; in Ghostery 5.4.1 clicked the "Remove" button; closed Firefox; rebooted Windows (v7); booted Firefox; installed Ghostery at Mozilla; and found *all* of my original settings still intact.

Hey There,
Thanks for using Ghostery!
There is no "Start Over" button. The blocking options section you would just click "Select None" and uncheck Ghostrank.
It would be easier to know which feature you are wanting to revert back to default.
If you go into your programs folder and you see a Ghostery folder there.. delete that. The best way to start fresh with any extension is to create a new firefox profile.
talk with you soon. -

I wish to reset or remove all of my "choices" that Ghostery follows and start fresh especially things like the whitelisted sites and the individual trackers allowed/disallowed at each site.

Why and how do those settings *not* disappear when Ghostery is uninstalled?

Sometimes there is a folder that does not get completely removed when using Firefox.. In your programs folder see if there is a Ghostery folder still there.. delete that and you'll be back to default. This only happens with Firefox and only sometimes... we can't get a hold on why. the 100% way is to create a new Firefox profile.
