how do i get this to stop popping up ever 5 seconds? very annoying and blocks my page!

frustrated
when I go to pages online, the ghostly alerts are showing on my screen and I have to click on it to make it go away. But, a few seconds later it is back. I can't even read or view my page cause it is in the way. it is a drop box from the little ghost in the upper right hand corner.

The panel shouldn't open by itself unless you click the icon. The purple alert bubble happens on every site unless you turn it off. Are you saying the panel is opening by itself?
Which browser and version of ghostery are you using? -
