How about, in the configuration section, you let us enter a URL we DON't want tracking us.
Ex: Facebook? Then show us the trackers they use, and block them.
Right now, I'm not sure who I'm blocking or why. It's a bit confusing. But if people are interested enough to install Ghostery, they are probably at least aware of some sites they DON'T want tracking them.

How about we type in a URL, and have Ghostery block its trackers for us?

What you are asking for is more of a blacklist which is not available in Ghostery.
We are working on a Per-site Selective tracker concept which may get you closer to what you are asking for... -
