I'm using Safari 4.1.3, which is the current version for OS 10.4.11, which is the latest operating system my Cube can run. Is there a version of Ghostery I can use?

I downloaded Ghostery, double-clicked on the icon, and a blank Safari page appeared but nothing else happened. There was no error message.

John, Safari started supporting extensions starting from version 5.0.1. You could try using Ghostery for Firefox by getting the TenFourFox ( http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenf... ) browser. I don't have experience with it, but it seems to be an actively maintained project, and it is very important to keep your browser up-to-date due to security and other reasons.

Alternatively, Firefox 3.6.x is still available, and fully supported on Mac OS X 10.4.11 and PowerPC hardware.
Since Adobe is no longer updating Flash Player for PowerPC, you should either uninstall it, or use the Flashblock extension with Firefox.
