How to auto-block new bugs added via auto-update?

When I receive an auto update to the blocklist, it appears that new entries are not automatically blocked. This means, to ensure I'm blocking all bugs, I either need a notification that new bugs have been added (and need to be blocked), or I need a way to specify that when I click "block all" this setting includes new bugs as they are identified. I'm using Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101, Firefox 24 and Safari Version 7.0 (9537.71) on OS X 10.9 and your browser on iOS (not sure yet if this issue applies to iOS).
