I don't like cluttered toolbars.
In Safari: I would like to be able to turn off the tool bar icon and to configure Ghostery in the extensions preferences.

Hi Jon,
If you are using the latest Ghostery (1.1), you can right-click anywhere on Safari's toolbar, choose "Customize Toolbar...", and drag Ghostery's icon out of the toolbar. Ghostery's findings popup and options can be accessed by right-clicking somewhere within pages where Ghostery was permitted to run.
Ghostery's options live in their own separate page because they wouldn't fit well within Safari's extension preferences window. However, we plan on putting instructions on how to access/a link to Ghostery's options in that space, as "No settings" is wrong and confusing. -

Thanks.
* I didn't realize that Ghostery options were accessible via the contextual menu. That lets me remove the toolbar icon.
* Putting a link to an external page in the extensions preferences is a good compromise, if there isn't enough space there. -
